The origins of CARGO l TRANS l POOL can be traced back to G. Hinrichs & Co. OHG, which was founded in Hamburg as a maritime forwarding agent in 1931. Today, ten independent service companies with a comprehensive logistics offering operate together in five distinct divisions: SHIPPING, MARINE, LOGISTIC, SUPPORT and SERVICE. Each company has its own specialist focus in the logistics field, as well as its own expertise and specific market knowledge. These mutually complementary skills are brought together and coordinated by the CARGO l TRANS l POOL.
The aim of CARGO l TRANS l POOL is to offer its customers individual logistical solutions as a one-stop shop, also and particularly for complex remits, whereby the logistical offering is interdisciplinary in terms of carrier, globally integrated and yet locally present with its own staff.
The company’s head office is in Rellingen with further locations in Pinneberg/Holstein, Duisburg/Rhine-Ruhr region, Frankfurt-Hahn, Zurich, Luxembourg and the Benelux port of Rotterdam, as well as key sites in Asia: Hong Kong, Tianjin/Xingang and Yingkou/Bayuquan.

On behalf of our commercial and industrial customers, our remit is to convey goods to the consignee in the quantity and nature instructed with the most appropriate mode of transport (by sea, land or air, individually or combined) at a fair price.
The special benefit offered by CARGO l TRANS l POOL is the wide variety of company-internal coordination options: in a market-compliant and flexible manner quantities and loads can be coordinated between ships, containers, rail and inland waterway vessels, with interim storage options, processing and packaging, supply and delivery within the countries of despatch and destination.
